Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Italian Enrico Battaglin sprinted to 10th place in the Tour Down Under’s fourth stage today. Caleb Ewan (Orica), just like in the first and third stages, won the kick in Campbelltown, Australia. Richie Porte (BMC) remains the leader with LottoNL-Jumbo’s Robert Gesink in 11th at 29 seconds.
Robert Gesink jumped to 10th in the Tour Down Under’s general classification after the third stage to Victor Harbor ended in a bunch sprint. Again, home cyclist Caleb Ewan (Orica) was the fastest sprinter in the Australian stage race.
LottoNL-Jumbo’s Robert Gesink sits 11th overall in the Tour Down Under after today’s mountain top finish stage in Paracombe. Richie Porte (BMC) won the stage ahead of two pursuers and with 19 seconds on a group with Gesink.
The first stage of the Tour Down Under ended in a bunch sprint with Caleb Ewan (Orica-Scott) on top. The LottoNL-Jumbo riders came thorough unscathed in the first stage of this year’s first WorldTour race. Robert Wagner took the top honours for the team in 16th.
The Tour Down Under’s pre-race People's Choice Classic criterium kicked off the 2017 road season today in Adelaide, Australia. The 50-kilometre race, covering 22 city circuits, ended in a typical bunch sprint. Australian Caleb Ewan (Orica) won with team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Robert Wagner in 12th, just outside the top 10.

Dutch team LottoNL-Jumbo left to Spain’s sun this week in Mojacar. The first training camp will help the team’s cyclists build their base towards the 2017 season.
Bram Tankink extended his contract with Team LottoNL-Jumbo for one year, through 2017. It means that the Dutchman, who just celebrated his 38th birthday, will begin his 10th season with the Dutch WorldTour team.
